COMST Senior Send-Off!

Another Communication Studies event that took place last week, immediately following the COMST 4040 presentations, was our Senior Send-Off and awards ceremony! Continue reading to learn more about the event, celebrate this year’s award recipients, and view photos from the celebration.

Student awards

The Senior Send-Off was held at the Memorial Union, in the Campanile Room, where COMST graduates gathered with their family and friends to celebrate their accomplishments. The event began with a welcome from Dr. Kelly Odenweller, followed by opening remarks from COMST Program Director Dr. Stacy Tye-Williams. Faculty members then recognized student award recipients, Lambda Pi Eta seniors, and Phi Beta Kappa inductees. The celebration concluded with closing remarks from retiring professor Dr. Todd Jenks.
